I drew a thing for a potential job

I created this piece to submit to a publisher for a potential job. They decided to go with a more whimsical illustrator, but I gained a contact. I had fun making the portrait, regardless.

Allen Glover was featured on the show Tiger King, and later arrested for a DUI. This image is based on that mugshot.

I've drawn some stuff since 2018 :|

Things I've been doing lately

Commission 001

A commission portrait of a friend's parents, which they gave to their mother as a gift. Pencil on 11x14 Bristol. Completed March 2018.

I am also available for custom illustrations, tattoo designs, dog/child/family portraits. I work primarily in Photoshop but I can paint traditionally in acrylic and gouache. I can frame and ship your image as well (price would include shipping). I will consult with you via email for free to determine the cost of your project.

Hero Colors (and Alt Color Schemes)

Here's the finalized hero design, along with 4 other options I looked at for coloring him. Which one is your favorite?

Hero Rough, Sketch and Ink

Doing some character design practice and wanted to go with something more shape based. My "comic book" illustration "style" is slowly becoming more defined.

I wanted to post this separately because this was a design commissioned by a friend to be incorporated into something he already had inked. Inspired by Peter Madsen.
